We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate / Associate Director to grow and strengthen our Benchmarking services and teams within our either our Leeds, Manchester or Newcastle offices.

So, what will you be responsible for?
This is an opportunity for you to develop our growing SES offering locally, as part of a wider team across the UK. You will be naturally proactive and help support the development of the local service offering in response to evolving national and local legislative drivers.
Your key responsibilities will be to provide support in the following areas (list not exhaustive):
* Leading the delivery of BREEAM projects.
* Part L, Energy Strategies and LCA assessment.
* Managing your own workload and to meet project deadlines.
* Reviewing project details and develop targets for sustainability.
* Reviewing documentation provided by project teams, assess this against the project's targets and provide feedback or follow up.
* Set up and maintain projects via the project evidence tracker.
* Communicating sustainability requirements to internal and external team members.
* Producing reports providing advice and guidance to clients and project teams.
* Attending site visits to review progress against sustainability targets.
* Reviewing the performance of designated projects on a monthly basis and update the teams project tracker with progress information.
* Assisting in preparing bids and proposals for new work.
* Engaging with skills networks to exchange best practices and processes.
* Attending and contributing to team meetings.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Hold a relevant degree, BEng (Hons) or BSc (Hons) or equivalent/higher.
* Qualified BREEAM Assessor.
* Qualified BREEAM Advisory Professional (AP).
* Background in building physics/environmental design, environmental science or sustainability related disciplines.
* Working knowledge of building performance modelling techniques.
* Knowledge of planning, environmental impact assessments or wider sustainability legislation.
* Knowledge of technical ability in building services related disciplines.
* Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills.
* Thorough understanding of the construction industry and built environment.
* Ability to manage projects with a proven track record of project delivery.
* Client relationship management skills.
* Part L modelling experience (TAS preferable) and LCA experience (OneClick LCA preferable).
* Experience developing and managing others.
* Emerging business development and sales skills.
