About Our Client
You'll join a growing industrial/manufacturing business at a time of exciting and positive change. The UK operations are based in Liverpool; however, the company has a global presence. You'll report into an impressive FD and be encouraged to bring ideas to the table on how to improve and streamline processes.
Job Description
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of the company's financial reporting and budgeting.
2. Oversee treasury, cash forecasting, AR and AP functions.
3. Implement and monitor effective cost control measures.
4. Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior management.
5. Suggest areas for process improvement to increase efficiency.
6. Develop long-term business plans based on reports.
7. Lead a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Finance Manager should have:
1. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
2. Proven experience in a similar role ideally gained within a larger/complex business.
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
4. Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
