CONGREGATE SITE MANAGER MODERN MATURITY CENTER, DOVER, DE Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm $15.75 per hour (paid vacation and sick time) JOB SUMMARY The Congregate Site Manager coordinates the day-to-day activities of the Congregate nutrition program. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the day-to-day operation of the dining room serving the Congregate meals Coordinates activities of workers engaged in serving meals in the dining room Ensures that participants receive their daily meal in a productive and organized fashion Observes safety and security procedures and fills out needed documentation (i.e. Safety Incident Reports) Oversees staff that collects donations and enters data when needed to cover cashier line and Grab-n-Go Collects donations, explains and helps clients with SERV Tracker Schedules and arranges the bands for the dinner dance Plans, organizes, and oversees operation of monthly evening dinner dance programs Works with Volunteer Coordinator to schedule volunteers to work the dinner dance Attends the dinner dance to ensure smooth operation Plans, organizes and oversees operation of holiday feasts Communicates with kitchen manager and food production staff regarding any concerns on flood lines Educates clients on the SERV Tracker system for meal accounting Requirements High school diploma or general education development diploma (GED) Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises the Grab n Go and cashier staff. Oversees approximately 10-12 volunteers in the Congregate meals program.
