Job Title: Senior Finance Business Partner
Location: Hybrid basis (1 day a week in Chiswick Office)
Purpose of the position:
This role partners with BSI's support functions to drive strategic goals, operational efficiency, and cost control. As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will own the financial performance of multiple functional areas, providing insightful analysis and reporting to senior leadership. This position requires strong stakeholder management, commercial acumen, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
1. Strategic Partnership:
o Build strong relationships with functional area leadership teams.
o Influence decisions to optimize operations, drive accountability, and manage costs.
o Provide strategic financial guidance and support.
2. Performance Reporting:
o Deliver timely and accurate management reporting.
o Lead functional reviews and present performance insights to senior leadership.
o Analyse and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs).
o Ensure accurate spend reporting and forecasting.
3. Forecasting and Planning:
o Develop and manage financial plans and forecasts for relevant functions.
o Ensure accuracy and robustness of financial models.
o Support leadership in presenting plans and forecasts.
4. Strategy Development:
o Support the development of long-range strategic plans (3-5 years).
o Provide metrics, analytics, and scenario modelling.
o Ensure alignment of functional cost models with group and divisional requirements.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
* Strong commercial, strategic, and business acumen.
* Extensive FP&A experience, including reporting, forecasting, planning, and KPI development.
* Experience working with senior leadership.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
* Strong systems experience (advanced Excel, ERP systems, and analytical tools).
* Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
