Role overview Offering expert guidance, diagnoses and treatment to patients within our specialist weight management services. fully remote, permanent, part-time position minimum 8 hours per week. Ultimately this person is focusing on patient care and being our advocate externally. That means being available during working hours to some extent and building relationships with our clinical & commercial teams. Key responsibilities & deliverables Conduct assessments, provide treatment and oversee comprehensive treatment plans for patients enrolled in our weight management programs, ensuring a high standard of care. Leverage our digital health platform to conduct virtual consultations, monitor progress and provide ongoing support to our patients remotely. Oversee the development and assessment of treatment plans for patients, reviewing and refining them to ensure optimal outcomes in weight management Collaborate with a diverse multidisciplinary team (MDT) of healthcare professionals including Dieticians, Psychologists, Obesity Nurse Specialists and Medical Leads. Provide expert clinical oversight and ensure adherence to clinical governance processes, including input to support the quality and safety of our novel GLP1 pharmacotherapy pathways Contribute your expertise and offer valuable insights to help continually improve our weight management services. Opportunity to engage in teaching and contribute to research development. Key skills and qualifications Experience in the diagnosis, treatment and management of endocrine disorders with expertise in diabetes and weight management. Experience working in or with the NHS - ideally within an NHS Tier 3 weight Management Service. Ability to work independently as well as working effectively within a team. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and contribute to improving patient outcomes. Medical Degree - MBBS or equivalent. Full registration with the GMC and inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register for Endocrinology.
