Overview:
A tier one contractor is looking for Site Agents to join multiple locations across the UK to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high-speed rail link.

Requirements: About you?
* Extensive experience with structures in a previous role
* HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent
* Mandatory CSCS Requirement (one of the following) - Black, White, White/Yellow, Yellow or Red Experienced
* Mandatory SMSTS
* Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills
* Must have extensive experience of working on Structures
* Good teamwork skills
* You must hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle
Role Responsibilities: What is the day to day?
You will assist with the construction strategy, including kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction programmes, procurement, and design deliverable schedules.
You will effectively communicate with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labor, equipment, materials, and temporary works necessary for completing activities to meet the required standards, schedule, and budget. Additionally, you will oversee the site engineering team and manage the performance and development of Site and Section Engineers.
You will coordinate construction operations, ensuring compliance with contract requirements while maintaining the necessary standards for safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ).
Your role will also support the creation of schedules, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurements, material reconciliations, and cost control.
