Duties for the position of Maintenance Surveyor in Oxfordshire include taking the lead on all repairs, compliance, planned maintenance and capital works within a defined geographical area with effective estate ownership. Spending time getting to know the people and properties for which you are responsible.
Additional duties for the Maintenance Surveyor in Oxfordshire include:
* To fulfil the client-side role, commissioning works and monitoring the output of the client’s contractors.
* Experience in managing varied workstreams and commissioning contractors is vital to this role, reporting on exceptions and ensuring that agreed timescales and quality are achieved.
* You will be one of three Maintenance Surveyors, working collaboratively, to ensure that the client is consistent in their approach. The work will require you to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* You will maintain records and provide reports to the Manager on progress. You will also contribute to the creation of future programmed work and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
* You will bring enthusiasm, energy and a “can do” attitude to the role. Helping to create a service that is agile and fit for purpose now and for the future.
* You will have demonstrable knowledge of current property legislation, including but not limited to, damp and mould, section 20 process, compliance, disrepair and decent homes.
