About the role:
SEN TA: We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support two Year 3 students in a specialised base unit. One student has global developmental delay, while the other has autism and presents challenging behaviours. This full-time role starts in January 2025 and requires a patient, proactive, and compassionate individual to provide tailored, one-to-one support throughout the day.

Application Requirements:
• Relevant experience supporting children with SEN, particularly autism and global developmental delay.
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to managing challenging behaviours
.• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
.• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and external specialists.
Key Responsibilities as an SEN TA:
• Provide one-to-one support to two Year 3 students with SEN needs.
• Implement individual learning plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching strategies
.• Manage challenging behaviours calmly and effectively.
• Assist in fostering social, emotional, and communication development.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals.
