The Head Teacher of a larger than average GOOD Primary School in Preston have approached Teaching Personnel in order to source a Y3 teacher to join their wonderful school from January 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Fully Qualified Teacher. Unfortunately, this school are not in a position to support an ECT. The School: The school is located centrally, with a high proportion of pupils speaking English as an Additional Language. The Head Teacher is a well driven and committed leader who ensures all staff in school are well supported and led to raising standards in the classroom. The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who has: A proven teaching ability. The ability to build excellent relationships with staff, parents and of course, pupils An excellent work ethic. Good organisational skills. Behaviour is currently graded good, therefore somebody who is confident upholding these standards and following whole school policies. The role: The role is to commence from 6th January 2025 for one term (as a minimum). This role will be initially covering maternity leave in Y3, however there is the option for another role within a different LKS2 class from January 2025. The expectation is that the successful applicant will take up the role on a full-time basis and be expected to plan, deliver and assess the KS2 Curriculum tailored to the pupils within the class.
