* Facilitating the implementation of relevant ProductSafety processes and production ofdeliverables
Supporting with the managementof the hazards, risks and associated mitigations and contribute tothe development of the hazard log and the maturity of informationcontained within
* Developing safety arguments to go into the safetyreport
Organising and facilitatingHAZIDs and review meetings and contributing to other HAZIDs whenrequired Taking responsibility forproduct safety assessment against major subsystems or key complextechnologies
Your skillsand experiences:
Essential:
* Experience in product safety management processes andtechniques
Familiar with report writingand developing safetyarguments
Desirable:
* Experience leading hazard identificationmeetings
Background within aNaval/Maritime environment or similar highly regulatedindustry
Applicants should ideally beDegree qualified or have equivalent experience, likely to be in atechnology, engineering, science or IT related discipline.
Applicants should be aChartered Engineer or hold another equivalent professionalregistration with a relevantinstitution. The Product Safety team: As a Principal Engineer in theProduct Safety team, you will be reporting into the Product SafetyManager and will be involved in the Canadian River Class Destroyerprogramme.
