Fine Art Technician - London - Up to £55,000
Our client is seeking an experienced Fine Art Technician to manage the full logistics process, including packing, crating, loading, and transporting artworks to their final destinations. You will play a key role in ensuring artworks are handled with care and transported safely across various locations.

Full Time: Monday to Friday
Overtime: Available

Key Responsibilities
1. Safe Handling & Transport: Ensure the secure transportation of high-value artworks for galleries, museums, private collectors, and exhibitions.
2. Packing & Crating: Pack and crate artworks for safe transit.
3. Loading & Unloading: Carefully load and unload artwork into/from vehicles with attention to detail.
4. HGV Operations: Operate Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) for transporting fine art across the UK.
5. Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and industry standards during transportation.
6. Installation & De-Installation: Assist with the installation and de-installation of artworks at exhibition sites as needed.
7. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1. Valid HGV Licence (Category C or CE) is essential.
2. Experience: Previous experience handling, packing, or transporting fine art or fragile, high-value items.
3. Expertise: Knowledge of best practices for art handling, packing, and transportation.
4. Health & Safety: Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
5. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a passion for working with high-value art.
6. Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
7. Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekend work or travel.
8. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
9. Right to Work: Full right to work in the UK.
