Legal Secretary - Conveyancing Annual Salary: up to £30,000 (depending on experience) Location: Basingstoke Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (37 hours per week) We are seeking a dedicated Legal Secretary to join a dynamic team within an established organisation. Day-to-day of the role: Typing correspondence and documents, with audio typing experience being highly desirable. Handling file opening, providing quotes, and sending out quote letters. Arranging and diarising client appointments to ensure smooth operations. Scanning, photocopying, and filing documents as required to maintain organised records. Assisting with client telephone queries to provide excellent customer service. Managing email correspondence to ensure effective communication. Assisting with general compliance and file administration tasks to support the legal team. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, within conveyancing. Proficiency in audio typing and handling legal documents. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Familiarity with legal compliance and file management.
