Service Coordination Manager – Overview We are currently working with an established HVAC Contractor based in Derby who are seeking an Internal Service Manager to head up their service coordination team. The company deal with the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of Heating Systems, Air Conditioning & Electrical Systems within commercial premises such as Schools, Hotels, Offices, Warehouses and many others. As Service Coordination Manager, you will be responsible for the companies PPM (planned-preventative maintenance) programmes and reactive repair call outs. Each year, the business needs to attend customer sites to service & maintain their assets. As well as this, throughout the year they receive call out requests from customers whose systems have broken down. The planned preventative maintenance calls are all very easy to schedule, with the internal system informing you of which sites are coming up for service. Your role will be to schedule the works in, populating the Engineers diaries so they know which sites they are attending each day. As well as this, you will deal with any reactive calls coming in, assessing how critical they are and dispatching Engineers to attend the breakdown. You will manage the external engineer team of gas, electrical and air conditioning engineers who undertake maintenance, repair and installation throughout the UK. One element of your job will be to recognise when there is an opportunity to upsell or promote the systems or services the companies can offer. Any upsell that results in a new job will earn you a bonus on top of your basic salary. You will not have targets for this area of the role, it will more be as and when you can You will also help customers with quotations, generating invoices following work being completed and liaising with the accounts department to issue these. As the division continues to expand, the company will be looking for you to begin hiring additional coordinators into your team as you take on a higher level role, so there is opportunities for progressions within the role as well. They are based in Derby and the office would be your place of work day to day. The working hours are 08:00 – 17:00pm Monday – Friday.
