What Is The Job Like?
Reporting to the VP of Engineering - Execution, we are seeking a motivated, talented and organised Agile Delivery Coordinator to support our in-house Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with software delivery teams to ensure efficient delivery throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Planning:
* Maintain accurate delivery schedules
* Facilitate refinement meetings to understand business requirements and technical estimates
* Work with the Engineering team Stakeholders to build a robust delivery plan
Technical Coordination
* Collaborate with all members of the delivery lifecycle to support multiple delivery teams and track technical progress through the lifecycle
* Work with the Development Manager to resolve any blockers/challenges that may arise
* Identify resource constraints ahead of time and work with the VP Of Engineering to resolve
Quality Assurance
* Maintain accurate up to date records demonstrating business quality standards are met for all production releases
* Work with the QA Manager to ensure testing and validation of deliverables meet organisational standards
* Coordinate feedback sessions and implement necessary improvements based on quality reviews.
Communication
* Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication
* Prepare delivery status updates on a weekly basis
* Address concerns and escalate issues where necessary
* Facilitate and chair regular milestone meetings and workshops in line with business requirements
Risk and Issue Management
* Identify potential delivery risks
* Track and resolve issues promptly, coordinating with the appropriate teams to mitigate impact.
* Monitor project health and escalate major risks or delays to the VP of Engineering.
Documentation & Process Management
* Ensure all delivery documentation is maintained and accurate, including Jira, Confluence, progress reports, and release notes.
* Ensure that project documents are accessible to relevant all members of the business
* Support process improvements and provide input on optimising project workflows and technical processes
Qualifications and Experience – Essential
* At least 3 years' experience working as a project professional - preferably software team
* Proven track record of delivery management
* Stakeholder management
* Excellent communicator
* Analytical problem solver
* Proven track record of implementing efficient process improvements.
Qualifications and Experience – Desirable
* Project Management certification such as Agile, Scrum or Prince 2
* Experience of working within telecommunications
* Experience working with Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence
* Computer Science degree.
