Job Title: Site Manager - Retrofit Schemes for Social Housing clients
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent - experience in social housing and retrofit essential
Location: Various Social Housing sites across the North West (NW)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Management: Oversee and manage retrofit projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet client specifications and requirements.
2. Team Coordination: Supervise construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
3. Safety Compliance: Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all site activities comply with health and safety regulations.
4. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality control, ensuring all work meets the required specifications and standards.
5. Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues.
6. Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, designs, and drawings.
7. Resource Management: Requisition materials and tools as needed, and manage project budgets and costs.
Qualifications:
1. SMSTS Certification: Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification is required.
2. First Aid Certification: Valid first aid certification is essential.
3. Driving Licence: A clean driving licence is necessary for travel between sites.
4. Experience: Proven experience in site management, particularly in retrofit works, is highly desirable.
Skills:
1. Strong leadership and team management skills.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
3. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
4. Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
