* Weekly teaching, full school day - 8.45am-3.30/4.30pm, term time
* Permanent placement in a Sing Education primary school/s
* Teaching from 1 to 5 days per week
* Singing-led curricular whole-class music lessons - Nursery to Year 6 following Sing Education teaching resources
* Choirs, lunchtime and after school clubs
Requirements
Qualifications:
University graduate with a degree in music or a related field.
Skills and Knowledge:
* Strong vocal skills with the confidence to lead lessons and assemblies.
* Excellent command of spoken and written English.
* Capability to conduct whole-class music lessons.
* Basic keyboard proficiency for classroom use.
* Understanding of the National Curriculum for music.
* Proficient with ICT and able to use online systems such as G Suite.
Experience:
* Experience in classroom teaching or one-on-one instruction.
* Previous work with children or young people in a teaching or leadership role.
Personal Attributes:
* Passionate about inspiring a love for music in pupils.
* Strong classroom management and disciplinary skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with both Sing Education and school teams.
* Maintains appropriate confidentiality.
* Possesses a sense of humour and can generate enthusiasm for music.
* Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
* Commitment to personal and professional development.
Compensation:
* Full-time Salary PA: £22,379 - £29,288 (for 5 days per week), based on a 5-point progressive pay scale.
* Staff progress up the pay scale with each 12 months of service following a successful managerial supervision meeting. Initial pay is dependent on classroom music experience and weekly hours + pension.
* 7 - 40 hours per week - 38 weeks per year + paid training.
