What's the opportunity? Our client, a leading mobile-first, consumer-focused marketplace, is seeking a Product Manager, who’ll be responsible for shaping and executing the strategy for monetising their offerings. What will you be doing? Develop and implement strategies to boost revenue through digital product offerings, enhanced features, flexible pricing tiers, and recurring billing models. Collaborate with the marketing team to design and launch targeted campaigns, promotions, and offers that encourage both new and returning users to engage. Lead the development and refinement of subscription packages (such as freemium, tiered pricing, and time-limited offers) aimed at improving conversion rates, user retention, and long-term customer value. Partner with product and design teams to determine the optimal packaging of features, balancing monetisation opportunities with an exceptional user experience. Oversee the development and innovation of in-app purchases, ensuring these features are strategically designed to enhance engagement and revenue while supporting the overall user journey. Plan and execute pricing experiments and A/B testing to evaluate customer price sensitivity, optimal pricing structures, and feature uptake. Utilise data-driven insights to refine strategies. Analyse customer data to identify distinct user segments and tailor pricing, offers, and promotions to maximise conversion rates and customer lifetime value. Track industry trends, competitor pricing strategies, and emerging business models in partnership with the user research team. Use these insights to continuously evolve pricing and feature offerings. Take ownership of key business metrics related to pricing strategies, subscriptions, and overall monetisation, including revenue growth, customer retention, and profitability indicators. What experience do you need? Over 5 years of product management experience, in a monetisation-focused role within a consumer focused (ideally mobile first company) Deep knowledge of pricing strategies, subscription models, consumables, in-app purchases, and feature packaging, with experience in using data-driven strategies to optimise monetisation. Proven experience in mobile app monetisation, including expertise in subscription billing platforms and a solid understanding of app store ecosystems and their revenue models Data analysis skills with a solid grasp of KPIs such as ARPU, LTV, churn, and conversion rates.
