Working within our Instore Sales Field Team as a Territory Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving sales, executing our brand plans in store with excellence and acting as a brand ambassador for our products. This role offers many exciting opportunities to work with our fantastic customers.
The Role
You'll focus on driving growth within some of our current retailers, delivering the channel and customer plans instore, ensuring the successful execution of all customer in store activities and the achievement of targets within your defined territory to ensure we feed the nation with their No. 1 brand in bakery.
1. Realise the growth potential within our retailers by ensuring all Commercial strategies and plans, including promotions, feature space, POS and product initiatives, are implemented successfully in store and monitored.
2. Proactively review performance with applicable customer management teams in support of recommendations to improve sell-through and help customers to grow their business.
3. Develop knowledge and skills of our retailers systems and procedures to enable effective delivery of all Commercial initiatives, channel plans and tactics.
4. Share best practice to maximise our ability to drive sales and ensure focus on continuous improvement.
5. Establish and maintain strong communication with both internal stakeholders and our retailers to ensure clarity of all activities and plans.
6. Build strong relationships and agree incremental activation plans with key retailer regional and area contacts.
7. It’s not essential that you have any previous experience, but it definitely helps if you have a commercial mind, are comfortable with building relationships and curious about retail or market trends and changes.
8. Excellent communication skills: great at building relationships and establishing credibility with both internal and customer contacts.
9. Commercial knowledge: good understanding of numbers and the key levers for driving sales.
10. Confidence to work autonomously and manage own workload.
11. Analytical experience: proven ability to interpret and evaluate complex data.
12. Proactive with the ambition to develop a career within Commercial Sales.
13. Brilliant organisational skills: managing own and others time effectively.
14. Competent with IT systems: including Excel, PowerPoint, and customer specific software.
15. A solution mindset: someone that enjoys turning challenges into results.
16. Full driving licence.
