What we're looking for:
* Someone to assist in preparing the classroom, receiving children and clearing away
* Help with planning activities and preparing materials to help the child access the curriculum
* To support the children in class, group and individual activities, indoors and outdoors.
* Assist in monitoring the child's progress, assessing achievement and recording results and observations, sharing outcomes with the class teacher
* A can do approach and flexibility
* Knowledge of SEND and supporting pupils with additional needs, is desirable
* A confident and clear communicator with parents.
* An excellent role model to children, colleagues and parents, exemplifying our core principle of kindness
* A positive, open-minded professional actively supportive of the ethos, vision and values of the school
* A member of the team who can build strong relationships with parents, children and staff
About Forge Wood Primary School
Our School sits within a newly established cluster of schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Forge Wood our cluster includes the following other schools; Southgate Primary School, Kilnwood Vale Primary School, Greenway Junior School, Salfords Primary School, Lime Tree Primary School, Merstham Primary School.
This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues across this cluster, to share expertise and experience, ensuring all children in our schools receive an excellent education and reach their potential. The Details
Hours : 33.5 hours per week
Monday, Tues, Thurs, Fri 8.30 - 3.30 Wed 8.30 - 4.30
Term Time: 39 weeks per year (including INSET days).
Salary: GLF Associate 2, point 1 Actual Salary, £18,279 (FTE £22,834)
