Performing the daily duties associated with the Transaction Reporting function to ensure that all eligible transactions for the group are reported to the regulator correctly and on time in line with the MiFID II regulations. To action any adjustments and investigate any breaches that may arise from other departments in relation to transaction reporting including Front Office, Dealing and Static Data teams.,
* Ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and work produced within deadlines and that any anomalies are reported to your line manager within agreed timescales.
* Ensure that personal and team KPI's / KRI's / MIR are met, assist in collation of MI highlighting any issues to management.
* Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a timely professional manner, liaising with fund managers and external parties where relevant and in a timely manner, escalating any issues where relevant.
* Contribute to the review of team tasks, identifying improvements with a view to enhancing client service. Participate in, and contribute to, any ad-hoc project-related work where necessary.
* Ensure that fair treatment of clients is at the forefront of all activities and that all interactions are conducted in an open and transparent manner.
* Demonstrate an understanding and application of the Group's Conduct Risk Framework Ensure that knowledge and skills are maintained and developed in line with industry, regulatory and internal requirements by undertaking regular and appropriate continuous professional development (CPD).
Demonstrable interest in financial services and in particular investment management.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel.
* Strong Interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences.
* Ability to work well in a team but concurrently comfortable to work individually.
* Demonstrate ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner.
* Ability to organise workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines.
* Responding to queries from both internal and external parties in a timely manner and providing a high level of customer service both internally and externally., For candidates with no relevant experience, Scottish Higher / GCSE's (or equivalent) at level C or higher in relevant subject.
* Relevant professional qualifications e.g. CISI Investment Operations Certificate desirable but not essential.
* Experience gained within a financial services institution especially in Operations is advantageous but not essential.
