The Role As a Porter/Helper, you will be responsible for loading and unloading goods, assisting the housekeeping team with furniture movement, maintaining stock organisation, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in the workplace. You will also play a key role in supporting the team's operational efficiency and adhering to health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling and proper placement. Assist Housekeeping staff with moving and lifting furniture. Pick up and drop off staff as needed. Organise and maintain stock in designated locations to ensure easy access. Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working condition. Adhere to health and safety regulations and participate in safety drills and training. Support Housekeepers by cleaning areas inside and outside as needed. Keep your work area organised and clean, promptly removing debris and spillages. Perform any tasks as requested by management. What We're Looking For We are seeking a professional with: Has knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards. Works efficiently under pressure. Holds a full, clean UK driving licence. Holds food hygiene and health and safety certifications (desirable). Possesses IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel (advantageous). Is flexible with working varied and rotating schedules.
