About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Water Treatment Technician to join our client's team in Wokingham. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality water treatment services to clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) Servicing: Perform testing, maintenance, and servicing of TMVs to ensure optimal performance.
* Calorifier Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of calorifiers to identify any issues or defects.
* Mains Pipework and Tank Disinfections: Carry out disinfections of mains pipework and storage tanks in line with industry standards to prevent contamination and maintain water quality.
* Closed System Dosing/Testing: Test and dose closed water systems to maintain efficiency, prevent scaling and corrosion, and ensure optimal water quality.
* Chlorine Titration (CT) Testing: Execute CT tests to confirm water quality and safety.
* Micro and Domestic Sampling: Collect and process water samples for microbiological and domestic testing to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in the water treatment industry, with a strong understanding of water treatment processes and regulations.
* Plumbing Skills: Strong knowledge of mains plumbing, including installation, repair, and maintenance, is essential for this role.
* Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and water treatment regulations is crucial for ensuring compliance and delivering high-quality services.
* Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and observational skills are required for accurate testing and reporting.
* Driving License: A valid driver's license is necessary for traveling to client sites.

Estimated Salary:
£45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience.
