DDaT Supplier and Contract Manager - Central Government - Hybrid, Brighton - Permanent

One of our clients is looking for an experienced DDaT Supplier & Contract Manager to join them in a permanent capacity. Based in Brighton, they need someone who can go onsite 6 days per month.
The salary on offer for this role is between £56,000 - £59,000 per annum.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Extensive knowledge and experience of the commercial lifecycle within the public sector.
2. Roadmap management: Experience of creating and delivering a long-term commercial roadmap for digital function.
3. Understanding of using 3rd parties to deliver technology programmes, with the ability to work with technically knowledgeable people and convey outputs to non-technical business areas.
4. In-depth awareness and experience of Government standards and industry best practices within Supplier Relationship Management, e.g., Government Commercial Function Guidance.
5. Supplier Relationship and Contract Management: Comprehensive understanding and experience of managing suppliers, including supplier performance, service levels, development, benchmarking, and understanding the role of cost drivers in the supply chain.
6. Commercial acumen: Sound understanding of economic factors impacting market sectors and approaches to minimise cost pressures and reduce commercial risk, combined with the ability to understand contracts, identify key supplier responsibilities, and leverage value.
7. Negotiation: Proven track record of delivering savings through optimising commercial solutions while maintaining credibility and a long-term supplier relationship.
8. Stakeholder Management: Experience of liaising, consulting, and meeting with key stakeholders to understand business drivers and short-, medium-, and long-term goals.
9. Project Management: Knowledge and experience of designing, planning, and implementing successful procurement projects (Desirable).
10. Entrepreneurship: Ability to identify opportunities, balance risks and benefits, and take appropriate actions to deliver beneficial outcomes (Desirable).
