Pay: £89 – £110 per day (depending on experience)

This role offers an excellent opportunity for graduates or individuals considering a teaching career to gain valuable classroom experience while working alongside a dedicated team of professionals.
As an Unqualified Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons in a variety of subjects to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will ensure that pupils remain engaged and complete set tasks while providing consistent classroom supervision. This role also offers you the chance to build relationships with students and collaborate with teachers to develop your understanding of effective teaching practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects in secondary schools in Tameside
* Supervise students, ensuring they remain engaged and complete their work
* Establish a positive learning environment through effective classroom management
* Work closely with subject teachers to understand lesson objectives and curriculum requirements
* Provide 1:1 or small group support to students when necessary
* Offer feedback to teachers regarding student engagement, behaviour, and progress

Ideal Candidate:
* A degree in any subject (or equivalent)
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage students effectively
* A passion for teaching and a desire to support young people in their academic journey
* Experience working with young people is preferred (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, coaching)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
