Job summary The Urology waiting list team manages surgical patient waiting lists, ensuring compliance with local and national targets/policies. Working closely with our friendly team of clinical staff and wider administrative teams, the job holder will need to be able to communicate effectively and courteously with patients, relatives, and a wide range of multi-professional staff, internal and external to the Trust, ensuring the patients' pathway runs smoothly and effectively, while also being a reliable point of contact for the patients' pathway. As part of the large and friendly Urology team, the job-holder is expected to maintain a high level of patient focused care that we aim to deliver for all our patients. Main duties of the job You will ensure that all patient details are kept up to date on the patient management system in order that information is available for theatre lists, audit purposes and any other data that may be required. Ensure the smooth running of the unit by liaising closely with the multidisciplinary team within the unit, with other Trust departments, community services and general practitioners.
