Job Description
Working on behalf of our client based in Birmingham. We are currently recruiting for a Sales Estimator.
Key Duties:
* Customer & Supplier Liaison: Confidently engage with customers and suppliers, assess inquiries, and calculate labor and material costs using BMS Selection Software to generate accurate quotations.
* Tender Documentation Management: Interpret project specifications, layout, and schematic drawings to manage tender documentation effectively.
* Site Visits: Conduct occasional site visits (1-2 times per month) to evaluate project requirements and strengthen customer relationships.
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
* Background in Building Management Systems (BMS) preferred; experience in Fire Alarms, HVAC, Electrical Contracting, or similar technical sectors also considered.
* Commercially astute, proactive, and customer-focused.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Strong desire to grow and succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
* Full UK driving license required.
