We have a fantastic opportunity to join the SHE team at Greggs as a Regional SHE Manager based at our new Derby site.
In this role, you'll lead the charge in developing innovative, user-friendly processes that prioritise safety and efficiency. You'll drive continuous improvement, foster a positive SHE culture, and make a real impact by partnering with site teams and senior management.

About the role
17. This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered

What you'll do
20. Oversee SHE Management across our new Derby manufacturing and logistics site whilst supporting the development of our new Kettering site
21. Work closely with the SHE Management team to continuously improve our SHE Management System, bringing your expertise to the table
22. Use your hands-on experience to develop user-friendly processes that prioritise safety and efficiency
23. Ensure thorough investigations of incidents and accidents, implementing effective remedial actions promptly
24. Set and support objectives aimed at enhancing SHE standards across all sites
25. Develop and execute site-specific implementation plans, working hand-in-hand with site management teams
26. Track and analyse performance against targets, driving continuous improvement
27. Lead the charge in fostering a positive SHE culture, encouraging individual responsibility at all levels
28. Utilise management information and data to drive site-level improvements
29. Represent the SHE team in senior site management meetings, advocating for SHE priorities
30. Partner with other site teams to promote a positive SHE culture
About you
You will fit right into this role if you:
31. Have Chartered membership of IOSH
32. Have excellent verbal and written communication abilities
33. Are innovative and adept at overcoming obstacles
34. Willing to travel to multiple site locations and work flexible hours as needed
35. Hold a valid driving licence
36. Can multi-task and work with multiple priorities at pace, delivering results within tight timescales
37. Have advanced IT skills including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
38. Are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative
39. Enjoy being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together

Desirable skills:
42. Experience in Environmental Management.
43. Familiarity with management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
44. Qualifications in Fire Risk Assessment.
45. Background in manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics operations.
