Vehicle Parts Centre Manager required in Hereford.

44-hour week Monday to Friday
Our client, a network of manufacturer-affiliated vehicle parts retailers employing over 1,500+ staff nationwide, requires a Centre Manager for one of their centres in Hereford.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that the centre targets and business objectives are achieved.
2. Translate overall sales targets into departmental targets and, with first-line management, set challenging but achievable goals.
3. Ensure the team is motivated, recognised and incentivised.
4. Create Personal Development Plans, monitor progress and provide developmental or corrective support where required.
5. Create a Manpower Plan for your centre and put a succession plan in place.
6. Create and maintain a customer-centric culture in the business.
7. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction via the team.
8. Work within the identified sales strategy to increase sales revenues within the team to devise and implement sales plans.
9. Regularly monitor business performance. Identify opportunities for improvement and take action for any deviations.
10. Analyse internal and external market data to develop an understanding of the potential sales opportunities.
11. Work to achieve the agreed business plan and budgets.
12. Ensure compliance with business standards and processes, financial, legal and ethical guidelines (including warranty).
13. Maintain an effective relationship with all stakeholders.
14. Ensure the overall security of the stock and premises.
Minimum Requirements:
To be eligible you will need to hold strong automotive parts management experience. Experience working in a sales environment on behalf of vehicle manufacturers, or a similar automotive parts retailer business would be highly desirable. You will have the ability to provide an exceptional customer service experience, be able to plan strategies and activities to grow and develop a business, be sales-focused and results-orientated, have a high degree of IT literacy and be a proficient user of MS Office.
