As an SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to help them achieve their academic goals. Job Duties: Develop and implement individualised education plans for students with SEN Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students Required Qualifications: Relevant experience working with students with SEN Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Previous experience working with students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning styles and needs Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans Patience and empathy when working with students Preferred Qualifications: SEN certification or additional training Experience with assistive technology Working Conditions: This is a part-time temporary position, with flexible hours. The role may require travel to different locations within South East England. The work environment will involve interacting with students, teachers, and parents to provide tailored support for students with SEN.
