We are recruiting a Therapeutic Practice Manager at Caerphilly County Borough Council. Working hours: 37 hours (9am – 5pm Monday to Friday with on call duties, participation in the on call/standby rota, one week night and one weekend a month) Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent Location: Ty Pawb, Bargoed This is an exciting opportunity to join Caerphilly and lead the Caerphilly My Support Team (MyST) Community team. The postholder will provide leadership and management to a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the application and maintenance of our clinical model, its service standards and its impacts for the young people and their networks. You will work in close partnerships with all stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes. For the role, we ask that you have: Professional qualification in health, social care, education or youth and community work or therapy equivalent. Understanding of children/young people’s physical, intellectual, linguistic, social and emotional growth and development, and understanding of how children/young people learn Experience of working therapeutically and delivering psychological and therapeutic approaches to children/young people and families Experience of working with young people and managing risk in a statutory setting Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough and to other regional bases in Gwent We have excellent benefits including the Local Government Pension Scheme, agile working patterns and staff discount schemes.
