Working for a specialist robotic packaging equipment company, the Field Service Engineer will travel to client sites across the UK to perform reactive and preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment. Candidates must have excellent mechanical skills, ideally with bagging, weighing, and handling equipment experience.
The role:
* Full-time based at client sites, you will work with single man operations to multinational blue chip companies.
* Responsible for troubleshooting, technical support, preventive maintenance, and customer service.
* Interacting with customers, engineers, and other staff to ensure efficient and effective resolution of issues.
* Training on company equipment will be given.
* Staying out overnight up to 2 nights per week is a feature of this role.
What's required:
* Field Service experience and Technical Support skills.
* A relevant technical diploma or an engineering degree will be required.
* Experience of troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
* Good communication and customer-facing skills, able to project a good image for the company.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team is a prerequisite.
* Must have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Experience working in the packaging or automation industry is an advantage.
* A Full UK Driving License is essential.
