Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for talented, ambitious and dynamic senior nurse to join the Medicine Division at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. We are looking to recruit a forward thinking, highly motivated and experienced nurse leader, who is currently working in a leadership role at band 7 or above, who will champion a high level of professional standards delivering outstanding safe high quality nursing care to patients who are 'medically fit for discharge.' Providing visible leadership to our two intermediate care wards (with a combined total of 60 beds), the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, sound clinical knowledge base and has a passion to continually improve patient experience and quality of care to our patients during their hospital stay, enabling them to return to the community as soon as it is safe to do so. Working closely with the clinical leads, and therapy staff you will lead on safety and quality standards within your ward areas through completion of the relevant audits, acting on results. With a willingness to develop your team as well as your own professional growth you will be fully supported by the senior nursing and management teams within the division.
