Job Title: Maths Teacher Location: Gosport, Hampshire (PO12) Pay Rate: £30,000 - £50,000 per annum (Depending on experience) Start date: From January 2025 or from February 2025 Contract type: Day-to-Day/Long-Term, Full-time/Part-time About the Role: As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to students in Key Stages 3 & 4, fostering a love for the subject and helping students achieve their full potential. Your role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress and contributing to the overall development of the maths department. Maths Teacher Responsibilities: Plan, prepare and deliver challenging and stimulating lessons that inspire students to excel in mathematics. Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback that encourages growth and development. Contribute to the development and improvement of the mathematics curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all students. Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, fostering a culture of respect and enthusiasm for learning. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices, resources and strategies for effective teaching. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any areas for improvement. Maths Teacher Job Requirements: A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent). A degree in Mathematics or a related field. Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4). Excellent subject knowledge, strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities. A genuine passion for mathematics and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
