As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for ensuring that technicians in the field have an efficient and well-planned schedule. Using excellent software, you will manage the day-to-day balancing and allocation of jobs as required. Your role includes assigning critical jobs quickly to achieve strict service level agreements (SLAs) and following them through to completion.
Duties:
* Assign critical jobs to field technicians efficiently using scheduling software and follow them through to completion in line with SLAs.
* Manage technician availability through regular communication with Regional Team Managers.
* Ensure all mandatory jobs are assigned and allocated to technicians on that day through periodic checks.
* Conduct quality checks to ensure that our scheduling software matches our front-end system.
* Review routes to ensure we support nationally with technicians' end times and workload.
* Monitor a dedicated inbox to action operational requests.
* Support an inbound technician helpline, resolving queries as required.
* Engage in problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment across a wide range of subjects.
* Be resilient to changes in process as required to improve accuracy and efficiency in business practices.
Experience:
* Planning experience preferred.
* Positive attitude, enthusiastic, flexible, and proactive approach to achieve the department's objectives.
* Assertiveness where necessary.
* Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
* Ability to prioritize workload.
