Here at Serco, we are looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to join our Employment, Skills and Training team. You’ll provide effective administrative support to Serco’s Operations team delivering Restart as well as providing support to Restart participants coming into the delivery centre and via telephone.
You may also be asked to provide administrative support to the wider administration team, specifically in relation to the delivery of apprenticeships and other training programmes.
Day to day you’ll be involved in:
* Delivering high levels of customer service when communicating with participants and operations team.
* Data capture and database management.
* Providing an exemplary first impression in this front of house position.
* Manage reception duties and ensure that all visitors are greeted with the highest degree of customer service.
* Being the main point of contact in respect of any phone calls.
* Day-to-day email and phone contact with participants.
* Ordering office supplies and work uniform/PPE.
* Contributing to team responsibilities including health & safety, office management, archiving and other SMS processes.
* Dealing and managing petty cash flow and reimbursement of participant travel.
What you need to do the Apprenticeship?
Essential
* 5 GCSE (A-C) including Maths and English.
* Good IT skills with particular emphasis on Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across a number of work streams.
* Confident to communicate through a variety of media with internal and external stakeholders.
* High attention to detail.
* Strong organisational skills.
