The Post
You will be working as part of an established team of professional Early Years Professionals and hold an HNC or SVQ level 3 or equivalent Play work qualification. You should be a flexible, enthusiastic and imaginative professional with a sound knowledge of National Care Standards, Getting it Right for Every child and Play work Principles.
You will have:

5. An ability to create a stimulating, experiential environment for young children.
6. Well-developed organisational and administrative skills.

9. Vitality and enthusiasm for the challenges of the post.
10. The ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
11. An appropriate level of IT skills.
12. An enthusiasm to bring new ideas to the service which will enable children to reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure Scotland check and will also be required to supply a letter from their doctor stating their mental and physical fitness to work with young children. As well as supplying two supporting references. There is also a requirement to be registered with SSSC at Support Worker Level.
The vacancies are:
13. Qualified Playworker to work 12.00pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday Term-time only and full-time during Holiday Club.
14. Qualified Playworker to work 10.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday Term-time only and full-time during Holiday Club.

Remuneration
Salary will be paid, pro-rata, in line with national Early Years pay scales. Placement on the scale will be dependent upon experience. Payment will be made in 12 equal monthly instalments.
