Salary:£31,650 - £49,084 per annum (plus SEN2)
Hours per week:32.5 hours, part time hours (19.5) will be considered.

Are you an experienced and dedicated teacher with a passion for making a difference? Our SEND team are looking for a qualified Advisory Teacher of Deaf Children and Young People to join their team!
Our innovative Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Service exists to improve outcomes and make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people with SEND, and their families, who require support to be included in their community.
As part of this role, you will provide support to families and advice to enable pre-schools, mainstream and special schools and colleges to enhance the effective education of children/young people with hearing impairment. You will be responsible for providing direct teaching to children and young people and planning visits to children and young people with hearing impairment according to their needs, within designated areas of the county. You will need to work closely with settings and health staff, children and young people and parents to ensure that the best possible outcomes are achieved.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Teacher of Deaf Children and Young People to join the Wiltshire Sensory Impairment, Physical and Medical Needs Service. We are looking for someone who holds or is working towards the mandatory qualification in teaching deaf children and has recent experience working in an advisory capacity. We will consider teachers with a range of SEN experience and a proven track record of engaging successfully with parents and children or young people, and who will be willing to undertake a Diploma course in teaching children with hearing impairment.
