Overview
Compass Associates are excited to be working with one of the UK’s leading providers of private healthcare, well established in the diagnostics sector for over 20 years, on the search for their next sonographer to join the team.
Joining an already well-established and supportive team within the hospital, this is a fantastic chance for any experienced sonographer to join a workforce who are passionate about delivering an outstanding service.
The Role / Candidate
You will be carrying out a range of ultrasound examinations, ensuring that guidelines are adhered to. You will be delivering a comprehensive ultrasound service, interpreting ultrasound images and providing detailed, accurate reports on the examinations.
You will be working with both NHS and private patients with an established company behind you that will allow you to thrive. You will liaise with referring clinicians and, when required, request Radiologist review of the reports. Further responsibilities include participating in audits and training of other medical staff.
You will be supported by Ultrasound Healthcare Assistants who will diarise patient appointments for you each day. You will effectively manage clinic sessions alongside your assistants to ensure an excellent customer experience. You will be fully supported by a Clinical Regional Lead Sonographer, as well as on-site management.
Minimum Requirements
* HCPC Registration
* MSc in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent (e.g. DMU or PgD)
Salary & Benefits
There is a salary on offer of up to £60K pa, which is highly dependent upon skills and experience.

Shift Pattern
This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The shift pattern is Monday-Friday, any limitations in terms of hours can be collaboratively discussed during interview.
