The role
The Head of Retrofit will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality, and compliant retrofit projects while driving operational efficiency and customer service excellence.
You will lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple, high-volume retrofit projects, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards whilst ensuring that customers are considered, effectively communicated with and are satisfied with the work delivered.
You will also be responsible for ensuring full compliance with relevant regulatory standards (PAS 2030/2035), managing and monitoring budgets to ensure financial targets are met and act as a key liaison with clients, contractors and suppliers.

The right fit
* You will hold a professional qualification in built environment, surveying, building discipline or qualified by experience.
* It is essential that you have proven experience of working in a lead role at senior level, within a medium/large organisation achieving value for money, making a strategic contribution to the organisation and experience of advising at Board/Committee level.
* You will have proven experience effectively leading and managing a team of cross-disciplinary professionals, including technical specialists and support staff.
* You will also have a track record of managing multiple, similar projects at scale, ensuring consistency, timelines, cost control, and compliance.
* Good commercial acumen is imperative, including experience in pricing, cost control, and budget management to ensure projects meet profit targets.
* You will have substantial experience working in the energy efficiency and retrofit sector.
* You will also have good practical knowledge of building regulations, codes of practice, PAS 2030/2035, Trust Mark Standard, MCS and British Standards etc.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and in written report format is important in this role, along with good interpersonal skill and an ability to develop excellent working relationships.
