Job summary Band 6 IV Therapy Practitioner - Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and Managed Clinical Services (RMCH/MCS) Are you passionate about developing your clinical skills and supporting education and development of staff? This is an exciting opportunity for a paediatric registered nurse to apply for a part-time post (22.5hrs per week) as a Band 6 IV Therapy Practitioner in RMCH/MCS. Main duties of the job You should be an experienced paediatric healthcare professional with a previous experience as a registered nurse and be competent in IV Therapy. Experience of venepuncture and cannulation would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given to the successful candidate. The post holder will work as a part of the IV Team to ensure that high quality standards of care are maintained. You will be team orientated but posses the ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload. You will be committed to improving quality of care and the patient experience.
