Flourish Education is seeking a passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs at a 'Good'-rated Ofsted school in Coundon. This role is perfect for a dedicated professional with experience working with children with SEND. You will provide 1:1 support, helping to create a positive, engaging, and tailored learning environment. The children you'll be working with have a range of needs, including ADHD, Autism, and challenging behaviour, and split their time between the school's SEN hub and mainstream classrooms. This SEND Teaching Assistant Job Role: Supporting the Class Teacher with delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum. Working with a pupils across the school to promote their learning and development. Providing one-to-one or group support to pupils with varying needs. Preparing classroom resources and assisting with lesson planning. Helping maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment. Collaborating with school staff to ensure a positive and productive school day. Delivering interventions in the schools' resource base. Required Skills and experience for this SEND Teaching Assistant Role: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK Primary School. A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare, teaching assistance, or equivalent. A solid understanding of the KS1 and KS2 National Curriculum. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Strong experience with Challenging behaviour Working as a SEND Teaching Assistant with Flourish Education you will receive excellent benefits including: A competitive salary of £85.02 to £95 per day, which equates to £16,578.90 to £18,525 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
