Insights Lead
Salary: circa £60,000
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Insights Lead to join our tenacious and supportive team. This is a newly created key role reporting to the Technical & Insights Manager and will be working directly with our senior management to develop and deliver strategic insight across the business!
This is a great job for someone with previous experience looking to excel in their career working with the UK’s leading Insurance, Retirement and Wealth businesses.
A bit about the job:
Within the role you will focus on turning data into valuable insights, looking to perpetually improve our management reporting and our systems aiming for world-class delivery. We are a key growth area within our business looking to supercharge our performance through modernised data and technical architecture to underpin our future plans. You will have responsibility for researching, collating, analysing, and managing data from across our business’s MI teams, from capture, through to structure and finally to delivering insights to help us improve the quality of our decisions, activity, and business outcomes. The role will enjoy significant autonomy to design and build bespoke dashboards, materially input into our complete reporting suite, and ultimately lead the development of this segment.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Prior experience within the insurance sector within industry experience, within a Risk, Governance or Commercial Operations 1LOD function with qualitative and quantitative responsibilities
* In-depth knowledge of statistical methods and data analytics and the ability to deliver accurate, relevant, and timely information
* Strong analytical, written and communication skills
* Ability to coach junior team members to improve the quality and impact of their outputs
* Knowledge of visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik, coupled with SQL programming and data modelling
What you’ll get for this role:
* Starting salary circa £60,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
* Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
