You will offer the people we support your skills in symptom control, social, emotional and spiritual care, in addition to providing advice, support and education to the primary health care team and hospital staff where appropriate, as part of an interdisciplinary team. To succeed in this role You will need to a compassionate and resilient person. For our Clinical Nurse Specialist (equivalent of AfC band 7), you will have proven experience in palliative care/oncology with relevant qualifications and experience of working at Band 6/equivalent or above. We require you to possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a disciplinary team and manage stressful situations.
