Buyer/Procurement Consultant - Belfast (60%) and remote (40%) - 10 months+

One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for several Buyers/Procurement Consultants.
CONTRACTOR MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR BPSS
Location: Office in Northern Ireland, Belfast, 60/40 on-site/remote. A bit more on-site presence will be required during the initial ramp up.
Role Description:
Responsible for sourcing and managing contracts for the customer products and services. They work to ensure that the customer receives the best quality products at the best price, and that all contracts are compliant with the customer's procurement processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage complex call for tenders including trans-national projects, according to GP process, negotiating the offers including terms and conditions to ensure optimal conditions for the customer.
2. Draft and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal conditions and mitigate potential risks for the customer. Manage the life cycle of the contracts with suppliers.
3. Lead MFT (Multi-functional teams) meetings with stakeholders for the allocated portfolio of activities, to formulate and implement the procurement strategy aligning with customers' business needs.
4. Contribute to innovation and digitalization in the procurement process through the deployment of state-of-the-art processes and tools.
5. Drive competitiveness and financial efficiency - Identify and optimize bundling opportunities to leverage the buying power of the customer in the Country/Region, generate savings and reduce total cost of ownership.
6. Contribute to budget elaboration within their scope of activity.
7. Ensure that the supply chain meets the customer's sustainability and ethical standards.
8. Develop and maintain an efficient supply chain that meets the customer needs.
9. Ensure that deliverables meet the customer's quality, cost, and time requirements.
Skills:
1. Experience in procurement.
2. Experience in teamwork in an intercultural environment.
3. Project management skills would be a plus.
4. Negotiation skills.
5. Knowledge of financial key indicators.
6. Knowledge of contract management and negotiation.
7. Technical background a plus.
8. Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
9. Good presentation skills.
10. Google workspace.
11. SAP knowledge would be a plus.
