Opportunity for an Architectural Technologist or a Technical Architect to join a medium-sized Architectural and Project Management consultancy in the centre of Birmingham.
Working across a variety of project sectors including education, healthcare, leisure, industrial, commercial, heritage, and residential.
You will join a medium-sized team of 30. If you are experienced in Industrial and logistics, this would be an advantage. Proficiency in Revit is a must.
Working from home twice a week is a benefit offered, along with a generous pension, bonus scheme, and salary sacrifice options available.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of design and construction documents
* Provide design and technical support
* Amend and update drawings
* Assist project teams and other staff members as required
* Liaise with members of the design team and provide assistance where appropriate
* Work towards deadlines and budgets, resolving any issues that may arise
* Stay up to date on UK building regulations
* Visit sites to ensure everything is running to plans and timescales
Requirements
* Ability to work in a self-led manner and manage own workload
* Job running experience desirable
* Proficiency in Revit is required
* Examples of work produced within the last 6-12 months are essential
