The ideal candidate will have the ability to interpret and explain financial concepts and information to non-financial managers. Excellent communication and IT skills (including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) are also essential. Critical to the role is the ability to develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders, with the ability to challenge and influence others. The ability to travel across Wales and other areas of the UK where necessary in a timely manner is essential. The post holder will also ensure processes are efficient, effective and consistent across all areas they are responsible for, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, and influencing others to champion system wide leadership and drive consistency across the senior finance management team.
