Job Title: Planning Solicitor
Salary: £42,000 - 55,000 per annum
Location: Letchworth
Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote, Full-time
Panoramic Associates have partnered up with North Hertfordshire District Council, who are looking to recruit a Planning Solicitor to join their established legal team.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis however, there is great flexibility on offer within the team to work the majority of the time on a remote basis with only occasional office attendance being required for planning committees twice a month.
The salary on offer ranges between £42,000 - 55,000 per annum dependent upon experience and for those with a strong background working within local government an additional car allowance of up to £3,000 is also on offer.

The successful candidate will have conduct of Sec.106 planning agreements and advise on highways matters.
Main Responsibilities:
Handling a caseload of planning law matters including drafting s106 agreements
Providing legal advice on a wide range of planning matters.
Advising on highways matters
Handling planning enforcement matters such as issuing planning enforcement notices.
Attend planning committees on behalf of the local authority
An ideal candidate will have the following skillset and attributes:
At least 2-5 years PQE as a Planning Solicitor
Previous experience working within a local authority
Strong knowledge and understanding of planning law
Preferably previous experience advising on highways law
