We have a vacancy for a Senior Teaching Assistant to work as part of the Learning Support Team. The post is to support within the Maths Department. The hours will be 8.30 a.m. – 3.30 p.m. with a half hour break for lunch. The successful candidate will have GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths and good skills in ICT.
A Level Maths is preferable.
This would be an ideal experience for a graduate looking for a career in teaching.
The role will involve supporting students with SEND within their lessons up to GCSE level, and to run intervention classes, to ensure that they are able to become successful and independent learners. This role may also involve supporting students with personal care needs.
