The post will hold responsibility for ensuring that all service data is collated and available as required together with general administrative duties as detailed below.
Other duties will include answering the telephone, reception duties, arranging clinics, updating and managing electronic referrals to the service and responding to enquiries, electronic, verbal and face to face.
These roles within Occupational Health are both interesting and diverse, together with being extremely busy as there is a daily need to liaise with service users, including staff and managers, other services such as Infection Prevention and Control, Health and Safety Managers, Workforce etc; so a professional and sympathetic personal and telephone manner is vital for the role.
Staff working in the Organisation will come from a variety of multicultural backgrounds, so the post-holder must be able to support those with cultural or language difficulties.
The Occupational Health Service is also aiming to provide a paper free service so a good level of computer literacy is essential for the post.
