PMLD Learning Support Assistant, Bedford

Time Plan Education Ltd are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dynamic Teaching Assistants for an immediate start to work in a fantastic SEN School in Bedfordshire. Our SEN School caters for students with PMLD, ASD, Speech and Language, and additional learning difficulties. The School and staff aim to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and resilience that supports our students to grow into purposeful young adults, enabling them to contribute to society positively. The School offers provision for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. This position is for an immediate start.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is an excellent practitioner, takes a creative and dynamic approach to learning, and is willing to commit on a long-term basis to the school. We seek an individual with a genuine passion and strong understanding of SEN learning environments. Individuals with a fantastic work ethic who can bring their dedication and specialist knowledge to help students' learning and development are encouraged to apply.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Experience working in an SEN setting, particularly with PMLD, ASD, and SPLD
* Enthusiasm, dedication, and motivation
* A passion and desire to work with students with additional needs
* Ability to be flexible and adapt to new learning environments
* Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students
* A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
* Availability for 5 days a week and commitment for at least 1-12 months
